Scott Simon ’87 is the founder of the global "Scare Your Soul" courage movement and a sought-after keynote speaker on the power of everyday bravery. His mission is to inspire individuals, teams and organizations to step outside their comfort zones and unlock their true potential.
 
After graduating from Gilmour, Scott earned a Bachelor of Arts from Skidmore College and a Master of Arts from Case Western Reserve University. He has earned certificates in Positive Psychology from the Wholebeing Institute and Behavior Design from the Stanford Behavior Design Lab.
 
His book on courage, “Scare Your Soul: 7 Powerful Principles to Harness Fear and Lead Your Most Courageous Life,” was published by Hachette and has been featured on Audible as an audiobook narrated by Scott.
