    MC Networking Breakfast

This month’s featured speaker is Jody Herzog, father of Brig Herzog ’31. Jody is a business leader and entrepreneur with a passion for fitness and innovation.

Jody earned his undergraduate degree from The College of Wooster in 2002 and his master’s in nutritional biochemistry from Case Western Reserve University in 2005.

In 2006, Jody and his wife Heather purchased their first Fleet Feet Cleveland franchise, growing it into a thriving network of five locations across Northeast Ohio, along with a distribution center. Fleet Feet Cleveland has become a cornerstone for local runners, walkers and fitness enthusiasts by providing personalized footwear fitting, education and a supportive community. His leadership has expanded Fleet Feet into Northfield, Pepper Pike, Strongsville and Westlake.

Never one to stop at just one venture, Jody launched Fuzion in 2017, a creative gear and apparel company fueled by passion, innovation and fun. Fuzion curates what’s next in brand gear and apparel, ensuring clients receive products that don’t just sit in closets but become part of people’s lives — fashion-forward, thoughtful and truly connected to the customer experience. With its unique approach to branding, Fuzion earned a spot on Crain’s Weatherhead 100 list in 2023, a recognition of its rapid growth and impact.

At the heart of both ventures lies an entrepreneurial spirit: navigating the ups and downs of business ownership, leading with values and building teams that create lasting customer experiences. Whether fitting a runner with their first pair of shoes or designing bespoke branded apparel, Jody brings enthusiasm, vision and a commitment to making every interaction meaningful.

Jody lives in Pepper Pike with his wife Heather, Brig ‘31 and daughter, Lilly, a junior in high school and an accomplished equestrian hunter/jumper.

Join us as Jody shares insights from his journey with Fleet Feet Cleveland and Fuzion — two very different businesses united by a common thread: the power of entrepreneurship, resilience and building brands that truly connect with people.
