Application Process

1
ACCESS YOUR GILMOUR ACCOUNT
If you have already completed an online inquiry, you have access to your application and checklist. If you have not completed an inquiry, submit an applicant inquiry here. After submitting the inquiry, please wait 24-36 hours for your Gilmour account to be created before retrieving your login credentials.

To retrieve your login information, go to gilmour.org/login and click the "Login Help" link to have your account information emailed to the address you provided on your inquiry. You will receive two separate emails: one with your username and one with a link to set a password, which expires after 30 minutes.
2
SELECT YOUR CHILD IN THE TOP LEFT CORNER
Once logged in, click on your child’s name in the top left corner. If you are applying for more than one child or you currently have a child at Gilmour, you will see a drop-down titled “Children” from which you can select one of your children to access his/her application.

APPLICATION AND CHECKLIST
You will see the application and a checklist detailing the items required in the application process. In the right sidebar, you will find a list of helpful tips to use as you navigate the process.
Complete and submit the online application (along with all other required checklist items) by the January 15, 2021 deadline for earliest consideration.
IN-PERSON FAMILY CAMPUS TOUR OR VIRTUAL PARENT MEETING (required)
Schedule a family campus tour with Admission, via your child's checklist (see our Visit page for scheduling details). We ask Lower School families to complete the application form prior to your tour.
These single-family tours will take place on campus on select weekdays and weekends from October through December.
TESTING (required for students applying for Grades 5-12)
For those applying for Grades 5-9, the ISEE is required. Students applying for Grades 10-11 may also submit the SSAT. The PSAT is acceptable as well for Grade 11 applicants. Finally, the SAT or ACT is required for Grade 12 applicants. The TOEFL is required for international students.
Students applying for Grades 7 or 9 will be considered for merit-based awards. ISEE scores are used to determine qualification for merit awards.
Gilmour administers the ISEE on its campus throughout the school year. For a list of on-campus test dates, see our Admission Events page. To register for the ISEE, visit iseetest.org or call (800) 446-0320; indicate you would like your scores sent to Gilmour (school code 362270).

We look forward to learning more about you through your application.
International students work with Gilmour's International Student Admission Advisor, Jianhui Du, to complete the admission process and placement at Gilmour Academy. Read more here.
