Gilmour's Floyd E. Stefanski Ice Center — dedicated in 2020 to honor the late brother of Ben II '56 and Marc '72, and father of Brian '05, Gavin '07, Evan '11 and Amanda '13 — is home to the Lancer hockey program and varsity figure skating team. It is the only facility of its kind in Ohio owned by a high school. The facility hosts the Academy’s two varsity, one 16-U and two prep hockey teams and features a number of youth hockey teams as well.

The planned improvements for the Ice Center—built in 1997, with the second rink added in 2003—include the following major renovations:

  • Convert caged area in Rink 2 to two fully enclosed locker rooms with shower and restroom facilities.
  • Build a second-floor family viewing room above the locker rooms, overlooking Rink 2.
  • Create additional space for the Girls Hockey Locker Room by attaining Locker Room D.
  • Reconfigure Locker Rooms A & B to accommodate rentals (as a result of Locker Room D being absorbed).
