Every day, Gilmour Academy students, faculty, staff and community members respond to the call to serve a purpose larger than themselves. At the heart of this is our campus ministry—the religious services and spaces, community outreach programs, sacred studies and devoted clergy that make our campus a center for tolerance, compassion and courage and allow us to fulfill our mission to develop the competence to see and the courage to act in creating a more humane and just society.

We foster an atmosphere of hospitality and inclusiveness and gladly welcome families of all faith backgrounds into our community.

Tobit Ministry

Through Gilmour's Tobit Ministry, started in 2010, students in Grades 9-12 serve as pallbearers for individuals who don't have family or friends who can participate in this role at the end of their lives. Embracing our Mission, these young people give honor, dignity and respect to the lives of those they help to bury. At the same time, this experience shapes and transforms our students.
