Campaign for Lancer Athletics

Since its earliest days, Gilmour has focused on educating the minds and the hearts of its students - educating the whole child. With more than 92% of our Upper School students involved in at least one sport at Gilmour and students from all three division using our facilities during and after school, we recognize the important role that our athletics program plays in the well-being of our students as well as its power to bring our community together as we root for our teams.
With the needs and safety of our student-athletes in mind, our plans for our athletics facilities' renovation projects have expanded to encompass other critical athletic facility improvements beyond Weber Stadium. The campaign, called "Ensure a Bright Future for Lancer Athletics," includes a host of projects summarized below.

Campaign Initiatives STILL UNDERWAY
- Figgie Field House floor resurfacing and HVAC repairs
- Softball Field - Phase II of grass field renovation (outfield drainage), installation of new scoreboard and electrical power to the site
- Ice Center Improvements - Renovation of the ‘cage’ hockey locker room, mezzanine-level skybox overlooking Rink 2 and improvements to Girls Prep locker room underway – estimated completion of project by April 2024
- Alumni Community Pavilion
- Weber Stadium grandstand renovations
- Weber Stadium security fencing
- Stadium roadway with pedestrian walkway and lighting
- Parking lot behind the Floyd E. Stefanski Ice Center repaving and expansion
PROJECTS COMPLETED
- Weber Stadium — stadium lights project completed in 2022
- Softball Field - Phase I of grass field renovation completed in May 2023
- Cell tower – tower installed in October 2023; (service activation pending equipment installation by Verizon)
- Landscaping screening on property line – completed in 2022
- Renovation of old stadium facilities building – locker rooms renovated in fall 2022
