MC Networking Breakfast

Tudor Lounge
The May speaker will be Maureen Covington, principal of St. Dominic School in Shaker Heights, Ohio. In her role as principal, she is guided by their mission statement, "St. Dominic School’s mission is to empower students to reach their full potential by providing a faith-filled, rigorous academic program within a beautifully diverse, purposely small community, where all learners are welcome."

She graduated from Boston College with a degree in English and then earned a Master’s in Education from John Carroll University. She earned her second master’s - a Master’s in Educational Administration from Ursuline College. She was selected to speak at the Adelante Conference at University of Notre Dame last summer as well as at Diocese of Cleveland principal meetings on the topic of creating a welcoming school culture.

She is the proud parent of Madeline '13, Collin '16 and Elizabeth ‘26. When she is not watching swim meets, she enjoys cheering on all the Cleveland sports teams, reading good books and walking her poorly trained dog.

Maureen will provide insight on the impact of AI and screen time on learning in Catholic schools and overall workforce development.
All men and women of the Gilmour community are invited to join us for the Gilmour Academy Networking Breakfasts.
