Two Writers Earn State Recognition

On Saturday, May 22, nine qualifying writers represented Gilmour at the JustWrite! state tournament. Libby Cornette ’24, Rachael Stasick ’24, Rain Wilson ’24, Ruby Johnson ’24 and Sami Stutler ’24 comprised our Division 1 Grade 9/10 team. Arianna DiMenna ’22, Kaylee Oliveto ’22, Kristen Oliveto ’22 and Victoria Dulzer ’22 represented GA as our Division 2 Grade 11/12 team.

 

The awards ceremony was held on May 29 and two of our writers earned special recognition. Kaylee Oliveto received the prestigious Director’s Choice Award for her narrative piece, “The Echo of Our Love Joy and Memories” and Victoria Dulzer took fourth place as an individual writer in Division 2!
