Three Students Participate in Virtual Shadow Day at NASA
On Friday, April 16, Lily Prebul ’24, Rain Wilson ’24 and Kai Logan ’22 participated in NASA’s virtual Shadow Day. The event, which the three had to apply to and be accepted for, was designed to allow high school students to explore career opportunities in STEM as well as business. It featured NASA scientists and engineers working in STEM fields at NASA Glenn, engaging STEM activities and tours of NASA Glenn’s facilities. Asked about the experience, Rain said, "We took tours of NASA Glenn's four different buildings, went into breakout rooms with our mentors, and learned about internships and summer programs!"
