Interdisciplinary MS Project Has Students Presenting on Charities in Line with GA Mission

The seventh graders have been hard at work on the interdisciplinary Caritas project, which tasked them with identifying, researching and promoting a charity of their choosing that they felt best embodied our Gilmour and Holy Cross mission.

After researching and presenting their charities to their classmates, three students emerged as finalists - Davis Levengood ’25, Charles Sustar ’25 and Braden Keller ’25.

This morning in Convocation, the three “pitched” their charities to students in Grades 7-12. Davis described the work done by Operation Smile, Charles talked about the Make a Wish Foundation and Braden described the St. Malachi Center.  All three were poised and clearly passionate about the work their charity does. The student body will now vote and will select the winning charity, which will receive a donation in the winning student’s name.
