Hillmon Scores 35 Points as Girls Basketball Ends Regular Season with a Win

The varsity girls basketball team closed out the regular season with a win at home against Division I John Hay 73-59. Naz Hillmon '18 (pictured) led all scorers with 35 points - just one point shy of tying the record she set last week for points scored in a game. In the win over John Hay, Hillmon also had 20 rebounds and four assists. Emma Gurley '18 contributed 18 points with four 3-pointers made, while Sarah Bohn '18 and Annika Corcoran '19 added seven points each. The Lancers finished the regular season 19-3 overall and host the sectional finals against Lake Catholic at 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 22. Fans are reminded no passes are accepted to any tournament game per OHSAA regulations. This includes Gilmour Family Athletic Passes even for games played on campus. Tickets will go on sale beginning one hour prior to tipoff.
