Swimming

The varsity swim team competed in the Viking Invitational at Cleveland State University this past weekend. The meet served as a test drive for the end of the season and the Lancers put up some great swims. For the boys, Matt Vanone '20 (pictured) crushed the 100 Fly in fourth place and the 100 Backstroke in sixth place. For the girls, the Medley Relay of Kylee Radigan '22, Cate O'Haimhirgin '20, Abby Meyer '21 and Grace Valenza '20 finished fifth overall and second in Division II. The 200 Free Relay of O'Haimhirgin, Anna Frank '20, Ania Lewis '21 and Radigan was seventh overall and third in Division II. The 400 Free Relay of Meadow Hynd '19 (pictured), Celeste Koerwitz '19, Meyer and Valenza was 10^th overall and third in Division II. O'Haimhirgin also turned in a third-place finish in the 100 Breaststroke.

 

Weekend Plans: The Lancers are off from competition until the Hilltopper Invitational on December 22 at Spire Institute.
