Middle School Sports Roundup

The Middle School cross country team finished the season at the Trumbull County Fairgrounds competing in the Legends Meet. A total of 200 runners participated in the event. All six Lancer runners ran well and finished out the year with strong performances. Justin Wen '23 and Michael Piccirillo '24 finished in the top half, while David Yang '23Ben Lindley '24Andrew Lewis '23 and Catcher Sawyer '23 ran better than at least one-third of the field. 
 
The Middle School soccer team recently defeated Old Trail School, 10-0. Ian Baird '23 and Morlyn Culler '23 each recorded a hat trick in the shutout. Additional goals were scored by Dorjan Flowers '23 and Carter Richmond '25 with two apiece. 
 
The Middle School volleyball team lost its last home game of the season to Laurel. The team played hard and enjoyed its opportunity to compete in the Gilmour Field House. Seema Casey '23 (pictured) provided solid serving for the Lancers, while Annamarie Wiandt '25 and Casie Crawford '24 had consistent passes.
