Five is the current win streak for the varsity football team after its 35-6 win against Lutheran East this past Saturday. CJ Charleston '19 gave another noteworthy performance, racking up 231 yards on 20 carries with five touchdowns. Max Mendels '19 was perfect on extra point attempts with six for the night. Jack Kosar '19 (pictured), who was named News-Herald Player of the Week, led the team with six tackles and also had one sack. Michael Cerer '19 had one and a half sacks. Currently the Lancers rank No. 2 in Region 17 as they look for a playoff bid.

Weekend Plans: The Lancers take on Trinity High School at 7 p.m. tonight at Bedford Bearcat Stadium. The game is being broadcast by WCCR-AM 1260 The Rock.
