Volleyball

The varsity volleyball team was quite busy this past week, battling it out against some tough opponents. The Lancers lost in five sets to state powerhouse Magnificat early in the week, before following up with a North Coast League (NCL) win against Villa Angela-St. Joseph. Gilmour then hosted the eight-team Lancer Invitational on Saturday, finishing as runners-up with a 2-1 record for the day. The Lancers recorded wins against Riverside and Brunswick, before falling to Huron in the championship match. Megan Brzozowski '19 (pictured) and Kenzie O'Connor '19 were selected to the all-tournament team.

Weekend Plans - The Lancers have the weekend off and will resume play on Tuesday with a home game against NCL opponent Beaumont. The freshman game is at 4:30 p.m., followed by the junior varsity game at approximately 5:30 p.m. and the varsity game at approximately 7 p.m.
