Softball

The varsity softball team completed the season with an overall record of 12-5 earning a sectional runner-up finish. The win total was the most for the program since the 2010 season. Several players achieved single-season records for their performances, including Emma Gurley ’18 (pictured) for hits (37), doubles (9), home runs (11) and RBI (45). She and Emma Bizay ’21 totaled 32 runs each to set the new season record in the category. Bizay also set the season record for triples (4) and on base percentage (.654), while Priscilla Richardson ’19 set the season record for batting average (.595). Several players also set career records, including Gurley for batting average (.549), home runs (15), RBI (78), runs (59), on base percentage (.588) and Katie Forsythe ’18 for steals (30) and hits (69).
