Girls Track & Field

The varsity girls track & field team earned OHSAA Division III District Championship honors after totaling 66 points in the district meet last week. The Lancers swept all four relays and scored in 13-of-17 events. Gilmour earned regional qualifications in 10 events as follows:

These athletes will compete in the regional meet this week for the right to earn a bid to the state meet in Columbus.
 
In other track news, Head Coach Jeff Klein was just named North Coast League White Division Coach of the Year, while Katie Engle ’19 (pictured) was the Running Events Most Valuable Player.
