What a Week for Boys Track & Field

The Lancers started out the week with a North Coast League White Division Championship and then concluded with a runner-up finish at the 24th Annual Miele Invitational. At the NCL Meet, Gilmour began with a bang, winning the 4x800 relay with an area-leading time of 8:06.72 thanks to Tim Diemer '19, Tyler Clark '19, Henry-Claude Madiba '18 and Connor Gerspacher '19. Another big performance was turned in by CJ Charleston '19, who not only set a Gilmour record, but a meet record with his leap of 22 feet, 5 inches in the long jump. Other winners included Andrew Sieminski '18 in the shot put, Gerspacher in the 3200, Diemer in the 800 and the 4x400 relay of Diemer, Clayton Tomasek '18, Madiba and Carter DiVincenzo '19.

Then at the Miele Invitational, the Lancers earned three first-place finishes - Clark in the 1600, Gerspacher in the 3200 and Madiba in the 800. Check out these photos from the meet.
