Boys Track & Field Finishes First at Home

It was a nice week for the varsity boys track & field team as it totaled 93 points to earn a first-place finish in a home meet against Hawken (47), John F. Kennedy (42) and Cleveland Central Catholic (24). The Lancers recorded nine first-place finishes with Andrew Sieminski '18 (pictured) winning both shot and discus and Tyler Clark '19 winning the 1600 and 3200.
 
The team then went on to compete at the Trinity Meet and finished ninth out of 15 teams. The top finishes included Clark's second-place time in the 3200 and the 4x800 relay team's second place finish courtesy of Clark, Henry-Claude Madiba '18Tim Diemer '19 and Connor Gerspacher '19. The Lancer throwers concluded the week at the Beachwood Meet with Sieminski again leading the Gilmour pack, taking second in the shot and discus.
