Congratulations to Our Six National Merit Scholars

Congratulations to Julia Morgan ’24 and Samantha Stutler ’24, who were notified this week that they are National Merit Semifinalists based on their scores on last fall’s PSAT. Only 16,000 students across the country, or less than one percent of high school seniors nationally, earned this distinction.

Julia and Samantha may now apply for the National Merit Finalist distinction. Finalists will be named in February and will compete for 7,200 scholarships worth approximately $28 million.

Additionally, Maria Flynn ’24, Lilly Russo ’24, Jonas Tessman ’24 and Zoe Wolfe ’24 have been named Commended Scholars by the National Merit® Scholarship Program. Of the approximately 1.5 million high school students who took the 2021 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT), only about 34,000 received Letters of Commendation in recognition of their outstanding academic promise.

Congratulations to all our National Merit Scholars.
