Speech and Debate Qualifies Three for National Tournament
The speech and debate team continued its stellar season over the weekend, with three students qualifying for nationals. Zach Holtz '18, who will compete at nationals in the Humorous Interpretation category, also qualified for Prose/Poetry Interpretation. John Kunzo '18 was selected for World School Debate. Sebastian Williams '18 qualified in both Student Congress and Lincoln Douglas Debate, choosing to compete in the latter (nationals rules only allow a student to compete in one category).
The Speech and Debate Association National Tournament will be held this summer in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
The following students were selected as alternate qualifiers for this year’s national tournament:

Sophia Di Puccio '19 (Dramatic Interpretation and Duo Interpretation)
