Living Our Mission: Inclusive Classrooms in Action
Last week, our Lower School faculty engaged in professional development on culturally inclusive pedagogy, reflecting on how culture, identity and inclusion shape teaching and learning. This builds on similar sessions held for our Middle and Upper School faculty in September, as part of Gilmour Academy’s ongoing commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments across all divisions.
Through these reflective and collaborative activities, teachers explored how to affirm diverse identities, support different learning needs and foster a sense of belonging for every student.
