  • Class of 2026 Year-End Schedule

    SATURDAY, APRIL 25 - SUNDAY, APRIL 26
    PROM AND AFTERPROM
    This year’s Junior/Senior Prom will be held on Saturday, April 25. Traditional promenade for seniors will be at Tudor House, after which students will be bused to Lago East Bank for dinner and dancing. Students will then be bused to AfterProm, which will be held at the Cleveland State University Recreation Center. They will be bused back to Gilmour at the end of AfterProm.

    The last day of classes for seniors is Thursday, April 30.

    SENIOR CELEBRATION DAY
    A day to celebrate the Class of 2026!
    MAY 4-12
    SENIOR PROJECTS
    The Senior Project is once again a requirement for graduation.
    Students will need to accumulate 40 hours of work on their Senior Project between May 4-12 and will present their projects between May 13-21. Parents and advisors will be invited to the 20-minute presentation, which students will sign up for after spring break.

    REHEARSAL (FOR STUDENTS)
    9:30 a.m.Meet at Figgie Field House
    Seniors must attend the formal graduation rehearsal in their graduation attire (see below for details).
    The graduates should be in graduation attire for both the Baccalaureate Mass and Commencement exercises. Boys will need a dark suit, white shirt and appropriate tie; girls should wear white/ivory dresses or suits and white/ivory/nude dress shoes or sandals (no flip flops). Shoulders should be covered, necklines should be appropriate and the dresses should be close to knee-length. Many girls wear the same dress for both events, often with a wrap for the Baccalaureate Mass.
    SATURDAY, MAY 23
    RESIDENCE HALL SENIOR FAMILY BRUNCH
    10 a.m.The Howley CommonsSenior resident students and their families will receive an invitation to Brunch. Mr. Brown will be sending out further information about this celebration.
    BACCALAUREATE MASS
    5 p.m.
    Lancer Gymnasium
    Tickets are not required for the Baccalaureate Mass and all are welcome. The Mass will also be livestreamed and can be watched at gilmour.org/live.
    All graduates will assemble outside the Athletic Center at 4:15 p.m. to line up for the procession.
    SUNDAY, MAY 24
    COMMENCEMENT
    11 a.m.Lancer Gymnasium
    Tickets are required for Commencement and each family will be allotted eight tickets. Tickets will be distributed to the students at the graduation rehearsal on May 22.
    The ceremony will be livestreamed and can be watched at gilmour.org/live.
    Graduates will need to arrive on campus by 10 a.m. and the ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. Commencement should conclude shortly after noon. For those hoping to make reservations for lunch, we suggest a 1 p.m. start time. The Athletic Center is handicap-accessible and drop-off parking is available.

    Tickets are required for Commencement and each family will be allotted eight tickets. Students with parents living in separate households may contact David Pfundstein at (440) 473-8090 or pfundsteind@gilmour.org to request two additional tickets. Tickets will be distributed to students at the graduation rehearsal on Friday, May 22.
