The Men’s Club Invites You to “Prevent a Tragedy, Save a Life”

    Wednesday, November 15, 6-8:30 p.m., Tudor House

Ohio is ground zero for the opioid crisis, and the stakes are high for our kids, family and local community. Many of us have been impacted in some way, and the statistics are alarming: 75% of heroin users started out on painkillers, 2016 opioid deaths exceeded 53,000, and Ohio is ranked second among states for opioid deaths.

We have assembled a panel of experts with diverse backgrounds - including drug abuse counseling, law enforcement, pharmaceuticals and education – who can provide valuable information to prevent addiction and answer questions such as:
    • What are opioids and how do they impact our community?
    • Why are opioids so deadly?
    • What questions should I be asking my physicians?
    • How do I know if a family member, friend, or even I have a problem?
    • What immediate risks do our kids face?
