Cum Laude Induction

On Wednesday, we welcomed 31 seniors and one faculty member to the Cum Laude Society. These students rank in the top fifth of the senior class and demonstrate the Society's tenets of areté (excellence), diké (justice) and timé (honor).

Additionally, Dr. Edward Turk was recognized as the faculty inductee. He was selected not only for her pursuit of scholastic excellence, but also her lifelong commitment to making the world a more humane and just place for others. After receiving their Cum Laude Society pins and certificates, students were inspired by Charbel Najm '16, who is currently a real estate attorney at Schneider Bell after earning his undergraduate degree from John Carroll University and his law degree at Case Western Reserve University.
