Steinway Artist Performs at Lower School
Lower School students enjoyed a special treat this morning! As part of our partnership with Steinway, we will periodically be able to host Steinway artists. Today, Lara Downes, a Steinway artist based out of California, visited the Lower School to deliver an important message about dedicating yourself to a cause, or making a promise to yourself, and taking steps to bring it to life today. In a beautiful combination of conversation and piano playing, Lara conveyed to the students that with focus and determination, they, too, can follow their dreams.
Students wrote their own promises to themselves and some shared with the group. All left inspired by Ms. Downes' message.
