Five students complete Teaching Cleveland Student Challenge

This week, five VECTOR students - Bryce Beard '25, Lauren Kish '23,  Luke Peterson '25, Olivia Reichard '23 and John Stack '23 - along with their teacher-coach Ms. Lazarchik, had their final presentation session with the Teaching Cleveland Student Challenge.

Since September, these students have met monthly with students across the greater Cleveland area to discuss how to secure a more sustainable future for Northeast Ohio. The challenge culminated in a community-oriented video proposing a solution to an environmental challenge. It was presented to their fellow students and members of the wider community in a session that included a keynote speech from Cuyahoga County Executive Chris Ronayne. The group chose to focus their presentation on bus stops in the far suburbs: how to make them both more accessible and more environmentally friendly. Check out the group's full final video here
