Art Teacher’s Sculpture Selected for Prestigious Exhibition

Middle and Upper School art instructor Mrs. Southard’s sculpture, entitled "More Together," has been juried into the Ohio Craft Museum’s “The Best of 2020•2021” exhibition. The piece was made using charred wood, stoneware, steel wire and Sharpie.

Now in its 38th year, this juried exhibition is regarded as one of Ohio’s best shows, and features established and emerging artists in all craft media. It showcases functional, sculptural or decorative approaches to contemporary works in clay, fiber, wood, glass, enamel, leather, metal, jewelry or other media. The exhibition will open on May 10 at the Ohio Craft Museum in Columbus. To see all the pieces in the show, click here.
