Senior Recognized as Youth Challenge’s Volunteer of the Week

Juliana Grobelny ’21 was recognized this week by Youth Challenge as their Volunteer of the Week! The organization brings together young people with physical disabilities and teen volunteers who inspire each other through adapted sports, recreation and social growth activities.

Juliana has been involved with Youth Challenge since the summer of 2018, participating in a variety of activities. The organization recognized Juliana, in particular, for her dedication to their cause throughout this past year during the pandemic, noting that she participated in every socially distanced service opportunity Youth Challenge offered, made greeting cards and care packages for participants, and thanked YC donors over the phone for their support. In describing her, a YC spokesperson said, “We are grateful for Juliana and her compassionate heart! She has been a wonderful friend to those around her at YC. Juliana has been fabulous about adapting to the times and staying involved with YC in creative ways!”

Way to live the mission, Juliana!
