A Meeting of the Minds

On Tuesday night, we welcomed 25 Inspire and Excel Merit Award winners for a special reception at Tudor House. To qualify for the Excel Award, students must score a 93 or above on the ISEE. For the Inspire Award, they must score a 65 or higher on the test. These 25 superstars are from 16 different grade schools - including three from our Middle School and one from our Lower School! 

In addition to being exceptional students, the group included Student Council presidents; thespians; saxophone, piano and guitar players; basketball, soccer, hockey, volleyball, football, lacrosse and softball players; swimmers; accomplished martial artists; entrepreneurs; and award-winning writers. 

The group got to hear from Maya Moufawad ’21, who once attended the very same reception, and how she has taken advantage of the variety of opportunities here at Gilmour.

It was incredible to have all that talent under one roof as we presented them with their awards!
