Summer 2019 Catalyst Symposium

Congratulations to the seven Summer 2019 Catalyst participants, who presented at the Catalyst Symposium. They shared recaps of their summer-long research work. Coltan Slabe '20, Taniya Dsouza '20, Elijah Wiertel '20, Mollie Edmondson '21, Olivia Hunyadi '20, Richard Jones '20 and Matt Vanone '20 (pictured L to R) worked with researchers in the field on projects ranging from designing more efficient wind turbine blades, to developing a computer science program to help organize and analyze massive amounts of data, to identifying strategies aimed at boosting immunity in the elderly. Read summaries of each of their research projects. The mentors, faculty members and parents in attendance were impressed with the scope of their work and the professionalism with which they presented it.
