Girls Prep Hockey Finishes Season in Pittsburgh

Last weekend, the girls prep hockey team traveled to Pittsburgh, Pa. to finish out the season in the district playoffs. The Lancers lost 0-4 to Pittsburgh Pens Elite and 0-3 to Culver Academy, finishing the season 26-26-7 overall. The team played hard from start to finish this season, and while it was not the ending the team wanted or deserved, the coaches wish the seniors well, and look forward to putting in the work to dominate next season with the returning student-athletes.

In other girls hockey news, the team has two seniors who have made commitments to play at the collegiate level so far, including Gab Venne '18 to Division III Hamilton College and Kelly Cingel '18 to ACHA DI Club Miami University of Ohio. Both players will be recognized in a signing and commitment ceremony in April.
