Girls Prep Hockey Battles in Buffalo
The girls prep hockey team went 2-0-1 this past weekend with wins against the Rochester Monarchs 4-1 and Buffalo Bison 2-1. The Lancers ended in a 2-2 tie in game two against the Monarchs. In the team's first win, Bella Sprang '21 (pictured) gave an outstanding overall performance and four different Lancers scored goals - Jenna Salminen '20, Ellie Heller '19, Ani Fitzgerald '19 and Morgan Miller '19. Then against the Bison, Fitzgerald and Heller scored for the win as Abby Zenone '18 gave a tremendous effort on the ice and was a leader for the team.
