Varsity A begins Cleveland Cup play; Varsity B goes 2-0 on week
The Varsity A hockey team finished out the regular season with an exciting 4-3 win against Meadville this past weekend. The win improved the team to 21-8-3 overall. The Lancers now begin competition in the Cleveland Cup followed by the OHSAA Sectional/District Tournament. The Varsity B hockey team went 2-0 this past week with wins against Holy Name 2-1 and Shaker Heights 7-3. Against Holy Name, Frankie Valenti '21 (pictured) was responsible for both Gilmour goals as Robbie Belknap '21 recorded 20 saves. Against Shaker Heights, six different Lancers scored with Joe Roddy '21 netting two goals.
