Boys Basketball Wins Three
The varsity boys basketball team went 3-0 on the week, defeating Beachwood, Andrews Osborne and Harvey. CJ Charleston '19 totaled a combined 62 points, 15 rebounds and 19 assists to lead the team. Against Beachwood, Connor O'Toole '20 had 13 points and five assists, while Ben Grandstaff '18 and Drexel Feeling '18 provided a spark off the bench. In the win against Andrews Osborne, Johnny Hollis '18 went four-for-four from beyond the arc and finished with 16 points. Then, against Harvey, Dechlan Kirincic '18 added 21 points and nine rebounds in the win. The Lancers continue to rank No. 8 in the News-Herald Top of the Crop. Fans are encouraged to make the road trip Friday for the Battle of SOM as the Lancers take on rival University School. The freshman game is at 4 p.m. followed by the junior varsity game at 5:30 p.m. and the varsity game at 7 p.m.
