Girls Basketball Falls in Close Matchup; Hillmon Featured on HS Sports Insider

The varsity girls basketball team lost a close one this past Saturday on the road in the Classic in the Country showcase event. OHSAA Division I power Mason High School earned the victory 54-51. The Lady Lancers battled back from an early 11-0 deficit and had several chances to take the lead in the final minute, but fell just short. Naz Hillmon '18 led the Lancers with 16 points and 12 rebounds, while Maddie Puletti '20 (pictured) added 12 points on four three-pointers and Emma Gurley '18 chipped in 11 points.
