After starting the season on a six-game winning streak, the Varsity B Gray/JV hockey team has gone 3-6-1 in the last 10 games. Most recently, the Lancers went 1-2 in the Brother James Memorial Tournament, falling to St. Edward 4-1, Team Indiana 16U 2-0, and defeating St. Francis de Sales 4-3 in overtime.
Head Coach Mark Ferfolia said the team had a tough weekend at the tournament, but overall played very well against very stiff competition. He thought the team's discipline and effort was great, but that they just couldn't find a way to finish their scoring chances. He is confident it will come with time and is hopeful the team can see how successful they could possibly be."
Weekend Plans: The Lancers have two games at home, including Friday at 3:50 p.m. against Shaker Heights and Sunday at 3:10 p.m. against Mentor. They will also travel to Ries Arena on Saturday to take on Holy Name at 11 a.m.
