Middle School Boys Basketball

The eighth-grade boys basketball team earned a win against Ruffing Montessori last week by a score of 47-30. Chad Plucinsky '23 gave an excellent all-around performance while leading the team in scoring with 18 points. Troy Domen '24 sparked the defense and also contributed 11 points, while Dorjan Flowers '23 added 10. The team lost to Fuchs Mizrachi and Cornerstone. Against Fuchs, the Lancers lost by just two points, 50-48. Flowers had a team-high 24 points and Logan DeWeese '23 scored 10. Against Cornerstone, Flowers was the only Lancer to score in double figures with 12 points. For the week, starting guard Lane Levengood '23 (pictured) really stepped up and showed extreme hustle and leadership.
 
The seventh-grade boys basketball team earned wins last week against Fuchs Mizrachi 41-35, Cornerstone 42-30 and Ruffing Montessori 41-16. Against Fuchs, Kevin Flaherty '24 turned in a 13-point offensive performance, while also leading the team in rebounds. Dominik Resnick '24 added 12 points. In the win against Cornerstone, Resnick had a big night with a team-best 21 points to finish as the only Lancer in double digits. Then in the Ruffing game, Resnick led the way with 12 points while David Pfundstein '25 had a nice game on both ends of the floor that included 11 points and several big steals. Braden Keller '25 also had a big bucket in the fourth quarter.
