Varsity B Gray/JV Boys Hockey

The Varsity B Gray/JV hockey team improved to 6-0 overall after a thrilling 1-0 victory over St. Charles Columbus this past Saturday. After being outshot at a 4-1 margin with a scoreless regulation, the teams went into a five-man shootout. With no score after five rounds, Robbie Belknap '21 (pictured) scored in the seventh round to break the score and end the game. Jeremy Sturm '21 had a combined 51 saves, with a mind-blowing performance between the pipes. Now through six games, the Lancers have killed 17-of-18 penalties for an 94.4 percent average. The team has also given up only five goals, playing rock solid in the defensive end.
