The varsity football team continued its undefeated season with a 43-21 win against Crestview High School on Saturday in the Division V, Region 17 quarterfinals. Not only did the victory improve the team's overall record to 11-0, but it also gives Gilmour the right to advance to the regional semifinals this weekend. In the win, CJ Charleston '19 (pictured) scored five touchdowns to pace the Lancer offense. He totaled 299 yards on 33 carries. Jack Krebs '19 also scored a touchdown and had 34 yards on four carries. Defensively, Jack Kosar '19 led the team with 13 tackles, including three for a loss. Aidan Muchnicki '20 had 11 tackles and Michael Cerer '19 totaled eight.
 
Charleston is currently a finalist for the Fox 8 Friday Night Touchdown Player of the Year honor. The winner will be announced during the live show tonight at 11 p.m.
 
Weekend Plans: The Lancers take on No. 1 seeded Orrville High School in the Division V, Region 17 semifinals tomorrow, Saturday, November 10, at 7 p.m. at Twinsburg High School. Fans are highly encouraged to purchase tickets in advance.
