Girls Tennis
The Varsity A girls tennis team concluded the regular season with a loss to Orange before competing in the postseason sectional tournament. The singles players fought hard, but all lost in the first round. Maya Moufawad '20 gave a great effort in a close match against Andrews Osborne, losing 6-3, 6-4. On the doubles side, duo Claire Jablonski '21 and Hadley Hairston '21 defeated Edgewood in the first round 6-1, 6-3 before losing in the next round to Orange. The A team's season concluded with this tournament.
The Varsity B girls tennis team finished the season with matches against Hathaway Brown and Magnificat. Although the Lancers were on the losing end for both, the team showed much improvement in the final week of competition. Ryan Kay '21 and Erin O'Toole '21 were among the standout performers in doubles, while Megan Whalen '20 played admirably in singles.
