Girls Soccer
The varsity girls soccer team defeated North Coast League (NCL) opponent Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin by a score of 4-1. Julia Pangonis '21 (pictured) opened the scoring attack on an assist from Cora Grunden '19. Annie Greene '19 recorded her first goal of the evening to give the Lancers a 2-1 lead at the break. She then went on to finish the night with a hat trick. Then earlier this week, the Lancers defeated Chagrin Falls 4-1. Goals were scored by Greene, Alexys Foster '19 and Kacie McPeek '19.
The junior varsity girls soccer team recorded a 1-1 tie against NDCL. Grace Terranova '22 was responsible for the team's lone goal of the day.
Weekend Plans: The Lancers are off this weekend, but return to the pitch Monday, October 1 for a road game against Laurel at 5 p.m.
