Middle School Baseball Improves to 3-1
It was another positive week for the Middle School baseball team. Although the Lancers had only one game, it was a 10-2 victory against rival University School. Another outstanding pitching performance was given by the staff. Eric Anton '22 (pictured) totaled 10 strikeouts in four innings, Josh Bruce '22 had four strikeouts in two innings and Nathan Flaherty '22 had one strikeout in one inning. The pitchers only gave up one hit total without a single earned run. An outstanding catching performance by Marcus Berrios '23 also was a big part of the win. Timely hitting by Nathan Nootbaar '22, Berrios & Kenyon Mau '22 added excitement to the Battle of S.O.M. The team record is now 3-1.
