Middle School Baseball Plays Competitive Game Against Andrews Osbourne
As has been the case all season, more inclement weather derailed three scheduled games last week. The Lancers did finally get to play on Friday against Andrews Osbourne, losing a very competitive game 2-1. Another fine pitching performance from Eric Anton '22 (pictured) yielded five strong innings with a nice closing effort by Josh Bruce '22. The defensive prowess of Nathan Nootbaar '22 and Nathan Flaherty '22 at third base and shortstop also kept the game close. The offensive standout of the game was Vince Stafford '22, who hit a double and scored the team's only run by stealing third and home.
