Tuesdays at Tudor Concert: Dana Piano Trio

    Tudor House
Join us for our next Tuesdays at Tudor concert featuring the Dana Piano Trio, one of the most exciting and engaging chamber groups today. Founded in 2017 by three professors at Youngstown State University’s Dana School of Music, the trio performs and teaches around the United States, including an upcoming Carnegie Hall debut in March 2019.

They will be performing Beethoven’s “Archduke” Trio, Op. 97 & Shostakovich’s Piano Trio No. 2, Op. 67.

The Dana Piano Trio’s members —violinist Joseph Kromholz, cellist Kivie Cahn-Lipman, and pianist Cicilia Yudha — each have active performing careers as soloists and chamber musicians. They hold degrees from many of the world’s most prestigious conservatories, including the Juilliard School, New England Conservatory, Cleveland Institute of Music, and Oberlin Conservatory.

Ms. Yudha will be performing on a Steinway Spirio piano donated by the late Matthew P. Figgie '84, Figgie Capital and The Figgie Foundation. We are very grateful for this beautiful piano.

The evening begins with a light reception at 6 p.m. and the concert will run from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

The event is free and open to all, but seating is limited, so please RSVP below to reserve your place.

The concert will take place at Tudor House (34001 Cedar Road, Gates Mills).

COLLEGE 101 – PARENT SESSION AND LUNCH
    Wednesday, March 13, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m., Athletic Center

The Gilmour Academy Women’s Club would like to invite all senior parents to a College 101 session, which will include a panel discussion and lunch.

That afternoon, the senior class will be participating in a workshop called College 101 to help prepare them for college life. The program, sponsored by the Gilmour Women’s Club, will provide seniors the opportunity to learn valuable information from professionals on topics such as legal rights and responsibilities of college students, campus safety, money management suggestions and life on a college campus.

During the Parent Session from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m., the parents will hear brief presentations from the same speakers the students will hear from in the afternoon. After the presentations, we will have a panel discussion, which will include the speakers and parents of recent alumni. Senior parents will have an opportunity to ask questions they may have about their student leaving for college.

Please RSVP for this parent session and lunch here.
