Gilmour Academy’s Black Student Alliance Speaker Series presents Chad Higgins, who will speak about how “failures” in his young adult life ultimately led him to happiness. Higgins is now a teacher in a low-income school and is happy to have found a field that allows him to make an impact.
The event is free and open to students and faculty/staff and their families.
All female parents and guardians are invited to this free event. We ask that you bring a donation of new or used school supplies for the Nottingham Youth Center.
All men and women of the Gilmour community are invited to a networking breakfast featuring guest speaker Tim Morgan, father of Clara '22. Tim's November presentation was rescheduled for this date. Tim is the owner of an import/export company and will be speaking about how to bring a product to market and navigate today’s increasingly complex foreign trade environment.
Sponsored by the Men's Club, the Gilmour Networking Group features a different topic each month and is free to attend. Bring business cards to share as you connect and strengthen business ties.
Prospective parents of students in grades 7-12 are invited to join us to learn more about Gilmour, hear from faculty members and administrators, ask questions about the school and admission process, and see campus while school is in session.
