  • Montessori Program

    • Fine Art
      • Students aged 18 months to 5 years are introduced to various mediums such as paint, pencils and clay and begin to study fine art as an integral part of the Montessori curriculum.
  • Lower School

    • Elements of Art and Principles of Design
      • Students are exposed from Montessori through sixth grades to the various elements of visual communication and artistic expression.  The exploration focuses on creative thinking and interdisciplinary connections. Students are introduced to art history and its relation to today’s society.  A variety of media is used such as 3-D printing, plaster, clay, acrylics, watercolor and found materials.
  • Middle School

    • Seventh-Grade Art
      • This course enhances students’ awareness and appreciation of art in the context of society as they complete group and individual projects incorporating various media and techniques.
    • Eighth-Grade Art
      • Students dive deeper into the history of art and the importance of works and artists over time as they complete group and individual projects incorporating various media and techniques.
