Gilmour Concert Series Presents Piano Duets Concert on Two New Steinway Grand Pianos
Join us for a special piano duets concert featuring Pierre and Sophié van der Westhuizen- the Westhuizen Duo - on Tuesday, November 14 at the Lower School. The pair will be playing a combined duet (one piano) and duo (two pianos) program called "Our Favorite Things: A Beautiful and Joyful Collection of Works for Piano Duets.” The concert will include Gabriel Faure's "Dolly Suite," Bach’s “Concerto in D Minor” and “Shostakovich Concertino,” among others.
There will be a wine and cheese reception at 6 p.m. followed by the concert from 6:30-7:30 p.m. All members of the Gilmour community and the greater Cleveland community are invited to attend. To RSVP, contact Jacqui Lundi at (440) 473-8000 x1204 or lundij@gilmour.org.
