Senior’s Selfie with Hillary Clinton Goes Viral

Kenny Kirchner ’17 and his parents were visiting Grandpa’s Cheesbarn in Ashland during a recent college trip and stumbled upon the Clinton/Kaine motorcade. Kenny found himself at the front of the crowd and was able to speak with Tim Kaine and Senate candidate Ted Strickland, taking a selfie with Kaine (see photo in right sidebar). Then, when Clinton appeared, he was able to shake her hand and take a selfie with her (see photo). An AP photographer, Andrew Harnik, snapped a photo of the Kirchner/Clinton selfie and it went viral, appearing on MSNBC and on news outlets around the world (see photos).
