We are thrilled to welcome Chef Scott Putzbach back to Gilmour as the executive chef through AVI. Chef Scott was here from 2006-2019, during which time he served as the executive chef. He then served as the chef manager at Lake Erie College's Storm Cafe and, most recently, as the culinary manager at Trader Jacks Restaurant since 2021. Now, he returns to Gilmour as the executive chef. In this role, Chef Scott will oversee all meal prep for day and boarding students and faculty/staff as well as all catering needs on campus.

A: It’s all about the kids!
Q: What's your all-time favorite lunch to prepare the students and faculty?
A: Chicken parmesan with pasta and blush sauce
Q: What are you most excited about with the new Commons?
A: To remember the old and “wow” at the new! Bringing a college-style dining hall with many food options and all new equipment sure will be nice.
